Kennedy’s work uses contemporary abstract expressionist motifs as a vehicle to explore true vulnerability, and how this, in turn, leads to interpersonal connection. Their process is built around introspection; unraveling and reconnecting the complexities of trauma, healing, and day-to-day experiences. She uses storytelling through her own lens, using personal experiences in the interest of returning to themself and forming relationships—both transient and lasting—with others.
